Wikileaks Reveals Department of Justice Special Counsel Appointee Taking Trip to Deliver Uranium Sample to Russia

Former FBI Director Robert Mueller was hired as special counsel to investigate allegations of Russian interference in the 2016 election and rumors of collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign, by the Department of Justice.

Wikileaks now revealed that in 2009, then-Director Mueller delivered a sample of stolen highly enriched uranium to the Russians when he visited the county. Wikileaks additionally found out that the secret mission occurred at a time when the United States and Russia were cooperating to uncover smuggling of nuclear materials.

Since Obama was president than, does this mean he was acting in a treasonous manner in trying to stop the flow of stolen nuclear materials by cooperating with Russia?

According to reports from 2009, the Russian government requested help from the United States in learning more about nuclear smuggling in the country of Georgia. Shortly after, some highly-enriched uranium was seized in a sting operation that involved one Russian national and several Georgian accomplices.

The cable from 2009 describes how the United States became involved in Russia’s two-year quest to obtain a 10-gram sample of the stolen material:

“IN RESPONSE TO THE RUSSIAN REQUEST, THE GEORGIAN GOVERNMENT AUTHORIZED THE UNITED STATES TO SHARE A SAMPLE OF THE MATERIAL WITH THE RUSSIANS FOR FORENSIC ANALYSIS. DIRECTOR MUELLER PREVIOUSLY PLANNED TO DELIVER THE SAMPLE IN APRIL, BUT DUE TO A SCHEDULING CONFLICT THE TRIP WAS CANCELED.”

The cancelled Mueller trip was rescheduled for September 21, 2009 when Mueller was asked to deliver the sample to the Federal Security Service after landing in Moscow. The cable additionally described how the State Atomic Energy Corporation of Russia would be involved:

“EMBASSY MOSCOW LEGATT INFORMED THE FSB PRIOR TO MUELLER’S INTENDED APRIL DELIVERY AND RECEIVED CONFIRMATION THAT THE FSB WOULD TAKE CUSTODY OF THE SAMPLE AFTER THE DIRECTOR’S PLANE LANDED. EST MOSCOW ALSO INFORMED ROSATOM OF THE PLANNED TRANSFER AND THAT THE U.S. PLACED A HIGH PRIORITY ON COMPLETING THIS TRANSFER (REF B). ONCE THE LEGATT TOLD FSB COUNTERPARTS THE APRIL TRIP HAD BEEN CANCELED, AMBASSADOR BEYRLE INFORMED IGOR NEVEROV (REF C), WHO SAID THAT HE UNDERSTOOD BUT WAS DISAPPOINTED THE TRIP WAS POSTPONED.”

We are waiting for reactions from the mainstream media or hysterical Democrats.
